I FINALLY understand how exercising is addicting… It only took 8 years and lots of nagging from my girlfriend…
I’ve always wanted to be in shape. Not only for my physical appearance, but also because I have always struggled with mental health. Which ironically, has also been my excuse for NOT getting my butt into gear.
I tried zumba, yoga, running, even the FREE gym that’s FOUR floors below my apartment. Nothing kept me consistently active.
Back in May, I saw advertisements for a free trial at Ripped. I figured, why not? I guess you could say I quickly began drinking the “kool-aid”. I loved the instructors, the environment, and started looking forward to working out. I guess you could say I no longer “tread” it! (get it, dread??)
For the first time, I feel GOOD- mentally and physically. Thank you to all my instructors Ripped for not tolerating my excuses and motivating me to push myself to limits I didn’t know I was capable of.
